New Tango Project was born in 2016, with the aim of fusing the genres of jazz and tango from a refreshing perspective, through its own compositions. With a formation that has been maintained since its beginning (Darío Polonara: bandoneon, Federico Salgado: double bass, Ramiro Rosa: drums and Guido Di Blasi: electric guitar and composition), the group reviews the roots of Argentine music and the essence of jazz, managing to build its own identity, a modern sound that respects and is nourished by those inspiring genres.

 

In his career he has two albums, “New Tango Project” (2017) and “Caos” (2021), produced and published by the prestigious record label FRESH SOUND RECORDS. They are currently preparing the release of their third album, “Fricciones” (2024) with the same record label.
